OK…. It's that time of year again! Our Annual Holiday Open House & Warehouse Sale is happening the first Saturday & Sunday in December. It's our chance to clean up the warehouse, and it's your 1 chance a year to meet all the Birdies from the Nest and score some incredible deals on 3Birds kits and more! We will have wholesale/below wholesale pricing. There will be many of the 3Birds kits you love as well as other name brands you will recognize! Plan to get there early.. because the prices are amazing, and once the goods are gone, they are GONE!  Stock up on some goodies for you, or get a jump on some Holiday Shopping for the crafters on your list! Here We Grow Again!

Hey Everyone! It’s Kimberly Bloom here. Who, you ask? Well, I’m just one of the many "behind-the-scenes" girls at 3 Birds. I wanted to share some exciting news for all you 3 Birds Quilling Fans!

Drum roll please…. You can officially find our Quilling products in all Hobby Lobby Stores!

I took a visit the other night to check it out and take some pics. I just love Hobby Lobby and I always find myself trying to run in and out of the store, but instead end up spending 2 hours browsing around. I ended up picking up a bunch of Christmas craft items and splurging on new décor items for my girls' bedroom.

I finally made my way over to the Quilling section and did a little happy dance in the aisle. I’m sure the security crew was laughing at me through the cameras!

Right now, you can buy our Quilling Starter Kit, Wood Template and Crimper Tool. I visited the store in Akron Ohio, which only had 1 of each item left in stock. Hopefully your store will have plenty to go around, they are flying off the shelves! We are hoping to expand with more items in 2015 so stay tuned!

Never tried our crimper tool before? You can create some really unique shapes by running your quilling strip through the gears. It’s so easy to use and a tool that you can keep in your stash forever. Here are a few shapes we created by crimping the quilling strips!

Then and Now Layout and Father's Day Card

Ok Friends! Chasity here! Who has a time machine I can borrow? Whoa! Where has the time gone? There is just no way that I am old enough to have an adult child already…Yep, I am in complete denial! It seems like just yesterday I was watching them take their first steps…(sigh) I know, I know, that’s why we scrapbook… To hold on to those moments, right!?!



Today I am sharing a layout that I did using the Midday Medley Collection. Have I mentioned how much I love the glitter paper we have put in this kit!?! This Paper Pack includes an 8” x 8” pad of shimmery glitter paper in coordinating colors that just make me swoon! I love how versatile it is! Use a little, or a lot. It cuts like butter, even in electronic die cut machines and adds glamour and sophistication to any project!

I created this layout to show just how beautifully the Midday Medley products coordinate! I love the triangle trend happening right now, and of course, paper bows made from glitter paper are just the right touch to any project!





I love that the stamp kit comes with coordinating die cuts to stamp on. It really is a time saver! I stamped the “&” and “Love this” on the die cut pieces and loved how easy it is to line them up!

I added a sequin box from the 3D Embellishment Kit to finish off the layout with some Bling!



…And just because I can’t stop playing with these glitter bows, I made this Pinterest inspired card for my girls to give to the best Dad in the world for Father’s Day this Sunday!!

New Year, New Face!

Happy New Year!!! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season, and is off to a great New Year! WOW! How the time flies… Well, here at the nest we have been very busy concepting, creating and designing… plus spending some valuable time with our families! The New Year brought some much needed resolutions… This year, we want to focus on more blog posts!!! We do some really AMAZING things here at the nest, and we think it’s time we actively share it with all of you!!!

Good morning early birds!  We here in the nest are always dreaming up new products, and playing with all the new samples to make sure they are perfect for you.  With all the fun embellishment kits we make, sometimes we have a hard time finding enough basic papers to use with them, so we are happy to announce our latest paper pack - Basic Foundations!  This is one more of the 6 new products that will be for sale live on HSN on June 18th!
